The Second Brain Starter Checklist

Does Claude actually know your business, or is it guessing.

• You explain your business, your offers, or your tone to Claude again almost every time you start a new conversation
• If you asked Claude to write something in your voice today, it would come out sounding generic, not like you
• Claude has guessed at your pricing, your positioning, or a fact about your business, and gotten it wrong
• Your business context lives in your head, or scattered across old chats, not in one place Claude can actually read
• You've never given Claude a single file that describes who you serve and how you work

Is it doing real work, or just answering questions.

• There's a task you repeat every single week that Claude could be doing, and currently isn't
• You've asked Claude to help with the same kind of task more than three times, and re-explained it from scratch each time
• If you took a real week off, at least one regular task in your business would simply stop happening
• Claude has never actually drafted, sent, filed, or finished something in your business without you doing most of the work first
• You use Claude for one off questions more than for anything that runs on its own

Can you actually trust it, or are you hoping.

• Nothing is written down anywhere that says what Claude can decide on its own versus what needs your yes first
• You couldn't say, right now, exactly what Claude is and isn't allowed to touch in your business
• If Claude made a mistake acting in your name tomorrow, you wouldn't be able to point to the rule that should have stopped it
• You've given Claude access to a tool, email, calendar, or files, without deciding in advance what it's allowed to do there
• "Governance" isn't a word you've used about your own AI setup before today
